Are you a leader who is a faithful follower of Jesus who wants to serve with the recognition that your theology has been tested?

Do you wish you had credentials that acknowledge your ability and training as a woman to contribute to the building of His Church.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

If this resonates with you, then we would like to invite you to engage the process to become a Commissioned Leader in Ministry through Charis Women.

Reasons for Credentialing: 

  • To offer recognition for the ministry fitness of a woman whom God has prepared according to Ephesians 4:7-12 for non-elder service.

  • To provide official approval for certain ministries as required by various agencies (local churches, mission agencies, prison ministry, medical facilities, IRS, etc.). 

  • To create an accountability structure for a woman who leads with both the local church and Charis Women (doctrinally and morally).  

  • To strengthen the partnership between local churches and the Charis Fellowship, especially with regard to a woman in non-elder leadership.  

Credentialing Process:

  • Apply 

  • Receive approval for entering the process 

  • Begin basic training which includes personal mentorship and access to doctrinal resources and materials.

  • Prepare a document that explains your ministry and your beliefs, including a biographical section and a doctrinal section.  

  • Personal interview 

  • Become a Commissioned Leader in Ministry.

CredentialinG Requirements:

  • A woman who is a member of a local Charis Fellowship church. 

  • Gifted for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12) which has been recognized and affirmed by the local church leadership. 

  • Subscribes without reservation to the Charis Commitment to Common Identity and is able to competently teach those truths from scripture.  

  • Engaged in or seeking engagement in Kingdom ministry.

  • Demonstrates a cooperative spirit with the purposes and policies of the Charis Fellowship and a lifestyle consistent with biblical standards of Christian conduct.
